Optimization

Note the following:

 PCIe x8 provides optimal performance for 10GbE.

 MSI and MSI-X interrupts perform better than legacy interrupts.

 Linux kernel versions 2.6.15 or later provide better performance

optimization.

 Check CPU utilization on the host for CPU-bound bottlenecks.
